On February 1, 2006, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. It was not easy for a 13 year old girl to constantly take medications that affect your moods, and to have many tests done at the hospital. Nine years later, when I was feeling healthy and seizure free, my world was turned upside down by having a seizure that was worse of them all. It was back to square one with tests, scans and medication adjustments. I ended up switching neurologists and discovered I was diagnosed with the wrong type of seizure after all these years.
This is my first epilepsy walk, where I proudly can say I am living a life with epilepsy. I hope you can consider making a small donation to help me towards my fundraising goal.
Thank you in advance for your support!
