Our mission is to ensure that people with seizures can participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research. We provide comprehensive support, personalized services and advocacy for individuals and their families in order to maximize their participation in society. One of our programs is Camp NOVA.
Camp NOVA is a wonderful opportunity for children and young adults living with epilepsy and other intellectual and development disabilities to enjoy summer camp. A one-week, overnight camp for individuals aged 12 and up provides an exciting and independent camping experience in an environment filled with fun experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Our camp activities include arts and craft, cooking lessons, boating, fishing, karate, swimming and yoga. The dates for this year are Sunday, July 28th – Saturday, August 3th, 2019. Your support will help those who have epilepsy participate in “adventures and life experiences” that they never dreamed they could. Their families are thrilled when they hear from their loved ones about their week of fun experiences and new friendships. To help support this camp see attached campership form.
